Our stay at “au pays de Jacquou” was absolutely wonderful. Somehow remote, but also close enough (7 km) to Thenon, the village where we attended a wedding. We had such a wonderful stay at La Sarlamandre. Our hosts, Stéphy and Séb were so kind and welcoming from the start. The rooms are very clean and feel brand new. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cake. Everything was so perfect and their attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. We really felt at home. We had the Rousseau room at the very top of the building. It was spacious and very comfortable. We were prepared to have to walk stairs (no elevator) and the staff carried bags up and down.
