Spending our first night at Loa's Nest Guesthouse was the perfect way to start our time in Iceland. The property was neat, clean, and comfortable. This is a family-run business and they were so kind, even making waffles in the morning and offering lovely suggestions to our itinerary. We appreciated the accommodation for late check-in, access to the kitchen, and a private bathroom. I believe laundry services can also be provided if needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Hotel Selja is in the perfect location to see and do so many things in Iceland! The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well designed. Lots of outlets, great waterfall shower which was very spacious, good wi-fi, very comfortable beds, black-out curtains to block out the midnight sun, and very beautiful surroundings. The views are amazing with waterfalls, glaciers, and lupines in full bloom, and the location is so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing and they offer a nice dinner menu...

We spent one night here as a fun novelty. Unfortunately it was cloudy, so we didn't see the northern lights or stars but that's ok! It was still a really fun quirky place to stay that was extremely comfortable and cute. Be aware: you can book an ingloo WITH or WITHOUT a bathroom. We booked one without a private bathroom so you have to walk a minute to the common building by the parking lot, it has multiple bathrooms and showers and a little kitchenette with a sink and espresso machine for use....

It was a lovely place to stay during our trip to the South Coast. It was a little surprising to check in over the phone in the lobby when we arrived, but the staff was very friendly and it was an easy process. Our room was perfect for our family of 3. The sofa bed was comfortable for our adult daughter and the bed was comfortable for us. Breakfast was offered at an extra charge and was very good - waffles, fruit, meat and cheeses, etc. We are glad to have stayed there.

Askot Cottages are beyond phenomenal! Our best stay in Iceland. The cottage design is thoughtful and purposeful. Every little detail adds to the comfort and experience for the guest.
