Brosundet was such a calming and casual chic hotel. After a long day of walking and exploring, it was so perfect to park up with a book (and free coffee/tea) next to their cozy fireplace. I also loved the brand of bath/shower products they provided - I ended up buying a candle to bring home! Also - the free breakfast is fantastic and the location is spot on!

Great style and service at this chic European hotel. Stay here! Location was amazing, rooms were generous, style was great, shower had amazing pressure (we did have to squeegee), beds were good (not amazing), rooms were quiet. Ice cream across the hotel is seriously amazing. Drape around the corner and down the street was the best coffee shop and lunch place. We would definitely stay here if we came back!

This is a lovely hotel right in the centre of Alesund. It is just steps from the main street. The bus from the Alesund Vigra airport can drop you off 3-4 minutes walk from the hotel. It is also only about 7-8 minutes on foot to the cruise terminal (incl. the Geiranger fjord ferry). The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is generous and tasty. There are options to buy snacks and amenities you may have forgotten (razors, chargers, etc.) at the reception 24 hrs a day. Some of the rooms...

Exceptional place to stay and great value. Perfect location, easy to get to everything with great restaurants close by. The host was wonderful and so easy to work with. We will definitely be staying here again the future.

My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place!

Location excellent. Modern clean and everything we needed. We enjoyed the roof top deck with a view of the city. If we return I would get a larger room with access to both sides of the bed Highly recommend

We were lucky to have perfect weather at the end of September. No rain and all the views/hikes were amazing. It’s a place for people that likes the outdoors and calm of a remote place.

Great room, large, clean and functional. Lots of room for our family. We went for breakfast at 730 and there wasnt much, old salad, a little ham, salami and cheese, a plate of watermelon and breads and crackers. There was a machine to give orange juice and milk, but it was out of orange juice. As we were leaving, about 810, a guy came un ad added more, better looking food (he was putting out yogert as we left). I would still recommend the hotel for the room, but the breakfast was...
