A very nice place to stay. The room was comfortable as well as the bed. The surrounding area very nice, you could have a nice stroll. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was so delicious. Breakfast was very good, they made omelets for us. Highly recommend
The Hotel Jama is absolutely fabulous! Even though it was built in 1971, it is beautifully refurbished inside with elegant lounge areas and a lovely bar. Our room felt brand new - the whole hotel is even better than it looks on the website - and it looks pretty nice on there to begin with! Newly renovated , everything you may need including small kitchenette with dishes and cookware. However no need to cook as the restaurant has a chef who cooks delicious dinners in the restaurant eight there most nights. We were unsure what time we would arrive, so opted not to reserve dinner, but were kindly accommodated when we arrived after our long drive.
The owners welcomed us warmly, and we enjoyed a gourmet 4 course menu for dinner.
The patio is a lovely place to relax, and the room was very clean and comfortable, with high-end fittings.
Highly recommend for a great meal and luxurious stay!
The staff at check in was great. the room was excellent. the casino was an added attraction for my cousin. The food could have been somewhat fresher; the waitstaff was a bit rough. We spoke english/spanish .. they did little to be supportive.
Great hotel that isn't far from Trieste. Parking is for free on the street, but if you arrive in the evening parking is available very close. Room was cozy and will stay here again in the future.
We loved our stay here - however did not realize it was so far out of town. DO NOT book here unless you have a car, it is really difficult with public transportation. If you just want to relax at the hotel or hike nearby it would be fine, but if you want to go back & forth to Trieste, find another place or bring a car.
