A nice hotel 15 minutes from central Basel via bus #36. There is a bus stop 2 minutes away from the hotel. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was worth the money. Note to Basel tourists, this is not a hotel located in Basel but Germany so if you want to get a mobility ticket for free public transport you have to book a hotel located in Basel.The room is very spacious. Tea making facilities in room. The restaurant is in the front and the hotel building is behind. The reception is in the restaurant....

This place is in a great location. Few steps and you’re in the heart of Basel. Saturdays in the park across the street is a market where you can find amazing antiques and other great finds. Staff are friendly and even loaned me a plugin adapter as mine for some reason didn’t work here. You’ll also get a pass to take the trams for free around the city! The only two caveats to mention is this is right next to the Basel University, so the rooms in the alley side can be a bit busy and loud later in...

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Euler. The location is a bit outside of town near the train station, but there were trams right outside the hotel which took us downtown to the Christmas markets. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since it wasn't free, so we went to the Starbucks next door. The hotel looks like an old elegant hotel and although it shows it's age, they had some nice touches such as a piano player in the evening.
