Very large and comfortable room. Easy and helpful technology to operate features in the room. Exceptional breakfast with lots of choices. Convenient location next to the train. Was easy to take a train to the Locarno city center in under 15 minutes. Transportation is included with the Ticino pass so request it from the front desk. Recommend this property.
All our hotel experiences with IHG in Europe have been about a 3 or 4. There is SO MUCH room for improvement! I just wish they cared more about their customers!
We were graded when we arrived and all the amenities were explained the hostess walked us to us our room and showed us all the features of the room. The room was clean pretty and the air conditioner worked great. Breakfast was marvelous, and staff was very responsive.
Location was right by the train station, which was great as well as by the lake even better.

The hotel provided what we needed! A comfortable and clean room and close to many good places. There is also a cafe/restaurant downstairs which opens until late and their staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff was also helpful just by one phone call away. Self check-in/check-out were smooth and easy. We really enjoyed the stay!

To start , some of us can't leave without Ac , this property not only has one but one that works , ( those of you who travel through the old world understand). Service is exceptional, and property is not a resort size but big enough. Great for families and couples as well, available bikes for all ages, pool ( small but warm) gym, indoor pool, on site dining option , and again service excellent.
This was a fantastic hotel! Very new so everything clean and up to date. Design and lighting very nice. Bed super comfortable. Room had everything you need (fridge, kettle, good-sized towels). Appreciated having a proper hair dryer and conditioner in the bathroom. Property was perfect for us. We stayed in room 50 with an awe inspiring view. That was the most important feature for us. Our room was spacious and clean. With a large bed, two twin beds pushed together, very supportive and comfortable. Hotel Muralto is an older property that has been well cared for and updated. Staff are very kind, helpful and attentive. We stayed in Locarno for 2 weeks and found that Hotel Muralto to be the right balance of comfort and functionality at a very good price.
