We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the four columns. Our room was beautiful as are the grounds. The end is surrounded by well keptGardens with lovely flowers and there are lots of places to sit outside and enjoy them. Staff was gracious. The breakfast delicious we used to live in Vermont and came back for a visit for a wedding and decided to stay at the Inn. I've traveled quite frequently the past several years and I can say in all honesty that this is without doubt one of the nicest places I have stayed. I was there for 2 nights and could not have asked for nicer accomodations. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spotless. The manager was very gracious, he even lent me his umbrella when it rained the day I had planned to do genealogy research in a local cemetery.

The hotel was beautiful. It was light and open and felt like we were in the past. The bar was gorgeous. Good drinks. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent. Huge portions. The staff was warm and friendly. We loved it so much we stayed a second night.
Great Location! Parking is little tight, accommodations are made and you are informed on where else you can leave your car safely. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. Our room was large and well appointed, with a wonderful view. Would stay there again, in a heartbeat

Beautiful Vermont Inn with exceptional breakfast: changes everyday - we had frittata, fresh fruit, steel cut oats fried with maple syrup and pecans and always muffins or other baked goods. The room was clean and staff greeted us by the door. Breakfast in the morning was all fresh foods and an endless pot of coffee. The only drawback was the lighting in the bathroom. The women had a hard time with putting on their makeup because the lighting was to dark. I would recommend to stay here as they won’t be disappointed.
The property is very well maintained and decorated. The room and bathroom are very clean. It has two very nice common area with 2 big windows that made them bright and sunny and cozy. It's also along a major highway so it's easy to find.
