Nyoman Gunarsa Museum is 1.1 mi (1.8 km) from central Banjarangkan, why not stop by during your stay. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is culturally rich and has lots of nice beaches. Perfect stop after traveling from Nusa Penida back to the mainland. The hotel is a little dated and needs some renovations but the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everyone on the staff were wonderful; a special shout out to Ega and Ariani. They are sweethearts but again, everyone on the staff were wonderful. We loved the food, as well.
This property is amazing!! I would definitely stay here again. All the staffs were very friendly, courteous and attentive. They made me feel so welcomed and they all spoke English pretty well. They picked me up from the airport for about $30 U.S dollars and it was stress free. The property has an infinity pool and the view from my room of the rice field was so beautiful! They have a shuttle that runs every few hours to take you to the center of Ubud where you can walk around and eat and shop....
The Maya Ubud was incredible! Perfect for a couples getaway. The property and grounds are beautiful and the villas are quiet and very private. Even though the resort was almost full it never felt that way, the atmosphere was relaxed and luxurious the entire time. The breakfast buffet that is included in the room rate does not disappoint, it was our best meal most days.
The hotel location has easy access to the center of Ubud and the hotel has great (and cheap) taxi service anywhere you want to...
Our stay was beyond amazing I celebrated my birthday at Ayung Resort the resort is a gem hidden 15 mins of central UBUD peaceful beautiful resort the resort is 5star hospitality we where only going to stay for 4nights and ended up for 8 nights! The free breakfast is great over looking the jungle the view is magical ! If you want to experience UBUD Ayung resort is a must ! Thank you to all the staff from Damian and Sonia
We are not resort people at all, but we did enjoy our stay at the Bali Beach Hotel. Great room overlooking the ocean and pool area. We also enjoyed the included breakfast and dinner at the new Spanish style one on the roof and the traditional Balinese food in the hotel. Highly recommended.
what a gorgeous lobby! check in was easy and quick, esp when they give you a refreshing cold drink while waiting. staff was always nice and helpful during the whole trip (suggested places to see traditional dance performances, looked up times for Yoga Barn for me, etc). Rooms were perfectly clean and comfy- showers were a little strange bc it was entirely see through, but manageable. hotel was within walking distance to so many places to see, eat, and shop, as well as atm and marts. best...
This is a lovely boutique hotel right outside the chaos of Ubud. It offers a quiet, relaxing environment and the pool is stunning. Best of all is the kind, caring staff who greet you and are eager to help in any way possible. I would definitely stay here again!

Where to start. I chose this hotel for my honeymoon and I'm very happy I did.
I booked the lagoon view room but when I arrived I asked to be moved to the best Lagoon room with access to the private lagoon pool and out door bed. Now what I didn't know is that they knew it was my honeymoon so in the old room they had a cake and an amazing swan made out of towels on the bed with flower pestles around it. What made me happy was when I asked to be moved to a better room, they made the same thing...
We spent the month of February 2015 traveling around Bali and our last two days at the Segara Village. Stayed on the second floor of one of the bungalow units. Very modern and clean. Earlier on our trip we stayed at sister property Kejora Suites which permitted us use of the facilities at Segara Village. Decided to book Segara because we liked Sanur beach "feel" and set up. Busy street with shops and restaurants. Hotels and residential villas, "boardwalk" walkway the length of the beach and...
I stayed here very comfortably for two nights. It is a bit further from the main touristy part of Sanur, but a 5 minute walk from the closest beach (with a walkway that connects to other beaches) and a quick Grab ride to the busier parts if that’s your scene. Room was clean, staff was accommodating, and the pool area was unique with a volleyball net and basketball hoop - nice touches. Would stay here again!
I can't recommend the Puri Santrian enough. This hotel was the main ingredient for the mostly relaxing vacation I've ever had. The check-in was flawless. My room was exceptional. Housekeeping was excellent. The staff was always there when you needed them but were not overly intrusive. The whole experience was geared to your comfort and convenience. Located directly on the beach, you have endless opportunities to enjoy all types of activities. Dining options at the hotel were exceptional....
The staff was incredible polite and nice to the guests! They were always smiling and greeting everyone and ready to help at anytime. The hotel looks much better then on the pictures. The rooftop pool is just amazing! The room was big enough for two and with a nice view. The bad and the floor were very clean.
