Beautiful clean and modern hotel. Right at the airport. Staff very kind and work hard. Food was delicious but some of the servers could use a little more training but they were very pleasant. Downside is they only provide 1 key card this can be an inconvenience if you’re traveling with someone who remains in the room. If you're the type of traveler who eats at McDonald's in other country's, then this property is probably not for you, but if you want to immerse in the local culture, its fantastic. Make sure you specify a bathroom in your room, unless you're ok with sharing, and make sure you arrange for a pickup at the airport for transportation to the hotel. This hotel is excellent. The staff (including the owner) is phenomenal. Everyone is so accommodating and welcoming. The staff speaks English and provides concierge service (directions, booking drivers/transportation and excursions). They were all concerned for my well-being and safety. If you are looking for a clean and good place to stay and for comfort in stonetown, i would deffinitely recommend this hotel. It is in the middle of the town yet feels like away from all that dirt and crowd. Best choice and quality. But exchange rates are very low in this hotel when compared to anywhere in zanzibar.

The rooms are great; spacious, clean and well-stocked. Free wireless also made things nice. Our room was on the pool side and the view was still great. The island is beautiful and secluded with a sandy beach and amazing natural surroundings. The cabins are beautifully designed to compliment the natural setting, taking advantage of cool cross breezes and incorporating solar power and hot water. The staff was also phenomenal, as was the food. My friend and I had one perfect night on Chumbe and came back refreshed and relaxed.

Great location-within walking distance of Darjani Market and Freddie Mercury’s house. The staff was attentive and helpful. The room I stayed in was huge and clean. It was 3 flights up but they help you with your luggage. They offer spa services which is done in a hotel suite. The massage I had was terrific. My only regret is I didn’t have more time there.

Great welcome, easy, small, cute, 2 double rooms only rented out each with private bathroom. very quaint but typically as in Stonetown, the windows face the alleys and you can hear people opten walking talking but normal for intown house. would still stay again. great value.

We had a wonderful stay at the Jafferji House. Rooms were large and clean, excellent AC and good wifi (although limited availability in the room, moreso in the lobby). Nice included rooftop breakfast and kind and helpful staff. Would definitely return!

Stayed here for one week and enjoyed it. The hotel is on a fairly busy beach in Stone Town. Breakfast was excellent, dinners were sometimes good and sometimes not but the salad bar was great. It is safe to walk around Stone Town with plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, fruits and spices for sale. The staffs were the best, breakfast was exceptional, location perfect. Only down part was the shower, for someone that is big and tall taking a shower daily was a struggle. Management should look into this.
