This has to be the best location if you want to stay away from touristy places. It is perfect for day trips to Venice, Vicenza, and Verona. There are fascinating small towns with interesting architecture, and history. I had forgotten what a lovely aroma permeates the air when the jasmine is in bloom. This is also close enough to explore the Italian alps and Lake Garda, plus tons of vineyards and several castles. Just a few minutes away is Montecchio Maggiore, home to the Romeo and Juliet castles...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotless and very quiet and comfortable. Viviana is a wonderful hostess who is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and always very prompt. This B&B was in a perfect location for us - it is about a 15-minute from the train station and a 10-minute walk to the main square. We want to return to Verona and hope we will be able to stay here again.
This hotel has maintained its good standards (we have been there many times). The rooms are not large, but very clean. The staff was very helpful, including organizing our taxi to and from the opera. The breakfast had good variety, and outdoor dining available.
We stayed two nights in the Baroness Suite, a lovely suite with hardwood floors, king size bed with luxury linens and a separate dining room with stocked kitchen. Sandra greeted us upon arrival and made us feel welcome and answered all our questions about our first visit to Verona. Her professionalism was especially evident when she made time out of her day to personally call us a car service and help load our luggage! This will be our only address whenever we visit Verona in the future. Thanks...

We were only there one night but Ark was fantastic!! Its clear the hotel is new but also clear they are taking care of it and their guests. I would stay there again!
We stopped a day in Verona and parked across the river, which looked like the best idea. Our hotel was an easy walk, with luggage, over the bridge from underground city parking lot, mostly over walking only streets. It is located on a cul de sac. A well appointed hotel with a welcoming staff, elevator or easy wide stair walk to rooms. Breakfast was a very nice selection. Room has nice furnishings and a wonderful, up to date bathroom. Very pleased with this hotel.

The hotel room and bed were quite large by local standards, and the hotel staff were very helpful. Location is a short walk from the arena and other sights. I will absolutely stay here again!
Hotel Armando is in a prime location for touring Verona. Service there is very friendly. Our room was a little cramped for two people, but it was very clean and had all the essentials - including a nice big, comfortable bed, and a very nice shower with good water pressure and abundant hot water. Breakfast was not included in our room rate, but for 5 Euros a person it was a good deal. Overall, we thought the Hotel was very good value for the price we paid, and we enjoyed our stay.
Check in was after hours so a bit of a challenge to find the correct door and use a flashlight to operate the keypad in the dark. Air Conditioning kept the 2 bedrooms at 24C which was fine, but when hot outside maybe an issue. Balcony was excellent overlooking the square. 3rd floor no lift so be prepared to get your luggage up and down. Overall would stay again.
The hotel is quite good, clean with a big garden. The problem is it located in a quite isolated area. So, if you have no personal transportation then travelling by public transport is very difficult.
