The staff were absolutely delightful! So friendly and kind. The inn owner’s dogs were also adorable, I think every inn should have a Nellie and Molly :)
Walking distance to the North Yorkshire Moor Railway. Very friendly, helpful staff. Room had beautiful view a field of sheep. Excellent food, chef fantastic.
My third time staying at the Wilson Inn. Always a very welcoming hotel in a great location on the North York moors. Rooms are spacious, well furnished and maintained. Bar, which always has a warm feel, has good selection of food & drinks (local beers) - with restaurant seating also available. Highly recommended.
Overall great stay and highly recommended. Super easy to find and park. The room was clean, modern, and well presented. The owner even pre-reserved us a table for dinner, which was a welcome surprise since we were tired and extremely hungry. The food was amazing as well. All in all I would highly recommend.
Very pleased with the accommodations, we had a cottage, unexpectedly there was a washer and dryer. Very pleasant surprise. Manager was very helpful.

We would return to this wonderful out of the way inn again. The staff was interested in our stay and our travels each day. They provided wonderful onsite information, as well as, a smile every time we walk in. The food at the inn was beyond expectations.
A lovely place to stay with an atmospheric bar and dining area. Our room was also faultless. Another advantage of staying here is that the park and ride is just across the road enabling easy access to the town.
This property is so fun! Your room is above a really cool, esthetic vintage bar. We had the top room and it was pretty big. You couldn’t hear any of the people downstairs just the delivery people and trash collectors, outside. The views from the windows look out to a big ship/restaurant. It’s also a stones throw from the train station.
I was traveling to the area alone and had chosen to stay here. I was greeted by a very friendly lady who I later discovered was the owner. The room was very clean a pretty with everything you needed. That evening I had a drink in the bar and the owners were so friendly and welcoming offering any assistance I may need. The breakfast was delicious and while I didn’t eat a meal there the menu looked great and very varied. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.
