"Classic old but beautiful hotel with staff doing their best to help. Unfortunately some guests expect too much and are inconsiderate to other guests but that seems to be the norm everywhere It’s a great hotel"

"Parking is an issue we parked at the back of the hotel for a couple of hours until check in with a disability badge and got a ticket we wasn’t the only guests who did this as there were no yellow lines, the room wasn’t as big as expected but it was very nice, Wendy was really helpful."

"If you are a party of walkers that want a nice clean room, a hearty evening meal , with a couple of drinks, and a good extensive breakfast the KHI is for you. If you want an atmospheric pub, I would suggest you consider somewhere else. The room and bathroom were clean with all the facilities you could reasonably expect for the money."
