"Great location overlooking harbour and staff helpful and attentive. Short 400 yd walk to quayside and restaurants and bars. Also the main transport hub for ferry, bus, hop on and off buses and all sorts of seagoing boats to take you around the island. Cannot be beaten for position. The hotel is undergoing restoration and will be amazing once completed but it’s well managed and you should not be put off as the hotel still offers a wonderful 4 star experience with excellent dining and wine."

Isolated from urban spots but easy to Uber. €10 to Mdina.

"Location is excellent, but hotel overall needs some upgrades. The mirror was broken in the room. Very noisy, every time toalet got flashed you could hear the water running down thru the pipe."
"Need new beds and the air conditioning was preset and couldn’t be changed. So the room at night was hot. Nice rooftop pool. It’s all stairs so bringing luggage in is a hassle. The luggage room is self serve so people can move your bags around and have access to them."
