Host Fernando was very gratious. His home is a large expansive eclectically decorated space. There are multiple rooms all decorated differently. He has a very large back yard oasis that we enjoyed relaxing in before and after going out. We had a ref in our room for drinks. Fabiola was an awesome host, and did everything she could to make our stay a memorable one. Our only "OK" rating is because we felt the pool was too small for the 5 units, there were only 6 lounge chairs for all guests, and only one area was reliably shaded around the pool. Also, the units aren't well insulated and so we could hear the other guests' voices resonating through the walls. The beach was great and it was easy to relax and enjoy the whole resort. The staff in the restaurants and bar were friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the Christmas Mass. I would not hesitate to return on my next trip to Aruba.

This was our second time visiting JOIA and it was an excellent stay like the first time, which is why we returned. We had a minor inconvenience on our third day but one of the managers Mariana went above and beyond to rectify the situation. We were truly appreciative and thankful for the level of service she provided.

A beautiful place to stay ..staff was always friendly and accommodating ….the rooms were beautiful and very clean …transport to the beach was extremely easy ..always someone there to take you right away And the ride down took 1 minute !!! The burgers from their rooftop were amazing!! The staff here were so happy to assist in anything you needed from directions to cab rides to just greeting you each and every time you arrived or left !!!! Will definately be staying again!!!!!

I did not like the beach chair policy. Paying for daily use of a beach chair was unacceptable considering the price we paid for our stay.

We had a wonderful 4 night break at the Ritz Carton over President's weekend. So although it was busy, the hotel was able to manage with the high volume of guests. The room was spacious with beautiful bathroom! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our every need. We enjoyed the restaurants, where food was outstanding (if a little pricey!) We enjoyed using the fitness center every day too. A lot of good equipment and plenty of space. We would definitely return here.

Enjoyed the 5night-4day stay at the Hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Can see attention to detail all over the hotel. In the design of the rooms, facilities, service etc. Breakfast included had a large number of options, some of which changed daily. The property was extremely clean. Desk & serving staff were always helpful. Quiet & restful place even later at night. The location was good for other activities. Beach access was provided by shuttle & easy walking distance.

LOVED our stay here and will be back for sure. Beautiful beaches, great staff and grounds were lovely. Only negatives were that breakfast buffet was mediocre and I would have loved to have robes available for after showering. Highly recommend!

The resort was wonderful. Very clean. The staff for the most part was cordial but not as helpful and welcoming as you would expect coming to Aruba for the first time.

The resort was beautiful and of course the beaches behind the Marriott resorts are amazing. The hotel is on the upper NW side of Aruba. The Resort’s grounds are breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. Like any resorts, food prices are on the expensive side. There’s a Hertz rental on the grounds and access to many water excursions and rentals less than .5 miles of the resort. My only complaint was the sofa in the room cushion was horrible. The hotel is going under renovations in Q2 2025.

This hotel has it all. Amazing 5-star service, clean and spacious rooms, pristine white sand beach and so much to do! The adults only pool is also a great addition for people looking for calm and quiet.

We loved our stay at the Divi Phoenix. It was perfect for our first visit to Aruba. The proximity to the beach was great and made it super easy to reserve a palapa each morning. Drinks made by Sandra at the pool bar were the best! Getting our beach towels from Sandra each morning was a delight, she was lovely :) Highly recommend choosing the Divi Phoenix for your next trip.

Preferred Club was Amazing. Our Butler Anthony and the Restaurant Manager Victor deserve highest compliments for making our experience amazing. All of the staff was exceptional! The property is absolutely beautiful as well!
