Such a beautiful property- we especially loved our gourmet breakfast on the balcony overlooking the bay and being able to easily walk into town. Peter and Greg were very accommodating hosts - we so enjoyed our time in Russell.
We were lucky enough to have a waterfront room and it was beautiful to be able to sit out on the patio listening to music down below as the sun set! Rooms are comfy, luxurious really... service good.
The spaciousness of the room for the cost is a wonderful value and you can’t beat the location! I also left an item behind by mistake and the manager not only called me right away but was willing to ship it back to me. We are very grateful we found this place!
The stay was fantastic. The new owners were very friendly and eager to please! They were very helpful and the room was spotless. The grounds were nice and right next to Bush with wild kiwi. We even saw one running through the camp grounds. There is a playground for older kids as well. Hightly recommended.

We stayed in the Cottage and it was so cozy and comfortable, with a sofa to watch tv. The Cottage comes with a continental breakfast with yoghurt, toast, cheese and meats. If you stay in the Main House, you get a hot breakfast. The Main House has amazing architecture: especially the front door, indoor waterfall & curved glass wall! Beautiful gardens, pool and lawns. The hosts, Lionel and Rob were very helpful with suggestions on where to eat and places to see. We wished we could have stayed...
Spacious suite overlooking dense greenery - like staying in a treehouse! Super nice hosts, easy walk to the historic part of town, good wifi/tv, large, comfortable bed, wonderfully dark and quiet at night, easy parking. Gorgeous communal space - would be super if travelling or meeting with a group.
