Great shape for a colonial style building. It sais 1925 on the entrance so maybe thats Victorian era. Very friendly and attentive staff that speak good English. High ceilings which we loved. 5 minute walk to the malecon. Quiet and private pool area. Will be stayin here again.
There was nothing to complain about this hotel. The rooms are really big, spacious and comfortable, well lit and clean. And despite the heat of Merida we never suffered. I think it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. A lot better than bigger name hotels in the city. And the staff was really helpful and attentive. All in all the best stay I’ve had

Not only safe and quiet but kid and dog friendly as well. If you’re not a guest there, you should be. I’m booking another night then going to the beach; which I haven’t seen yet.

Not a fancy hotel but the room was immaculate and well equipped. Cannot beat the location. Right on the male on. Most rooms (ones with balconies) have an ocean view. Courteous and efficient staff. Will definitely recommend and return next time I visit Progreso.
Loved Merida. The food is the best in Mexico. The hotel is located a few blocks from Parque Santa Ana which is where you need to be for the cultural experience. The hotel food is just okay, so I recommend that you spend your time eating outside at the fantastic collection of cafes and restaurants.
