During our first night there we had some issues with the air conditioner, which the staff tried to resolve straight away and kept on checking on during our whole stay to make sure that it was working fine and that we were comfortable. There is also a clinic on site which was very helpful as my mom fell sick during our trip and to make us feel right at home the hotel sent us a Get Well Soon bouquet to our room. Damai hotel was very nice and relaxing in a beautiful serene setting. Drinks and food at the hotel are first class but on the expensive side for Bali. The problem with the place is there is not much to do if you are there for a several days. The town of Lovina is small and it does not offer much of shopping or great restaurants. The beach is ugly and uninviting. Hotel is the nicest place to be. If you must come to this part of the island I recommend Damai hotel. However the over all experience...
The most amazing place i have ever visited. The staff is soooo friendly. The food delicious. Wvery night tgey have live music. The pool is unmatched. The view is incredible. You feel transported to another world and never want to leave. Be sure to attend a yoga class and if you are lucky enough to get a private villa (there are only 18 of them)have them decorate it with real flowers for your special occasion. There is nothing you won't love about this resort.
We stayed a week for our 25th anniversary. Perfect for that occasion. It would be inappropriate with children, infirm or elderly - stone stairs to anywhere, lots of quiet, mostly honeymooners.
