"A charming hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and a perfect location — just two blocks from the castle and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and charming little shops. The only downside is that the breakfast doesn ’t offer many Western options, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay!"

"The Celecton is a nice, standard Japanese hotel. The rooms are small, but they are practical, very clean and amenities are good. If you want a hotel that is close to the Castle then this is a good one, but it is 10-15 minutes walk to the train station, restaurants, and the other attractions in Matsumoto. My room was facing the Castle but directly above a busy road, so it was quite noisy."
