"This review may seem unfair as the facility was undergoing an update during our stay. The staff was great and my kids loved the pool. 3 out of 4 of my family also agreed that it was the best breakfast that we had had during our trip to Cape Breton, and the selection and wait staff (during the breakfast) were great. My biggest gripe was that there is an arcade area, and although some of it was accessible, most of the machines were broken/non-functioning and many of them had incorrect coin costs (or non at all) displayed on the machines. So the kids and I were a little let down after the machines ate most of our quarters. A small sign or notice stating their lack of functionality would have gone a long way. All in all, we would stay there again, and it was a good value for the money."

Outside of building needs maintenance as well. No coffee/tea provided. Functional mini fridge with small freezer were convenient, plus small microwave oven. Price I paid was more than price I was quoted by Expedia. Somewhat overpriced anyway for overall quality."
