The front desk service was impeccable, restaurant food was very good. The hotel itself is a little older, but everything‘s very clean.

8/10 Very good

We took 21 rooms for two nights. Being vegetarian we had to cater food in. The staff went out of way and opened conference room for us to use for dinners.

8/10 Very good

The staff was very helpful when asking for extra pillows/towels. The breakfast was good in the restaurant on site. The pool was a decent size and just the right temperature. My only complaint would be the lack of parking when you came back later there was none in front of the Inn. I would suspect due to the bar. The extra parking was not well lit as on the side of the building or street side. Also only 2 wheelchair parking spaces that were not being monitored.

Decent place to stay in downtown Sydney. Not fancy but price is right. Seems like some updating is being done. Very friendly staff. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Must ask for cleaning service if less than three days stay. On site bar had a great Friday open mic event going on. Saw some really good local musicians (and a couple brave souls) which was a lot of fun. Didn’t eat on site but restaurant looked good. Very convenient and will stay after returning from NL since it is pretty close to Hwy.

Room was clean and building has clearly upgraded some items in the rooms which is nice. Pillows could be better and still some items to upgrade/fix up. Great value at its price and location.

The desk staff, David, was very accommodating when we asked to change rooms because our shower wasn't working, and the room door kept sticking. The room was not fully cleaned with a leftover sock from a previous guest.

Amenities were very good. Good to have a pool and basic gym. Beds were very comfortable and great pillows.

The room was very clean . The staff were pleasant and helpful
Verified review

8/10 Very good

Friendly staff. But the room can use a bit more work to keep up, especially the doors in our case. For the price, it is good and economical for short stay around Sydney, especially with an option for pool and gym, with a restaurant nearby. Fairly close to downtown, if that means anything to your trip. Also an economical choice to be part of your Cape Breton Island adventure.

The hotel is a bit tired but generally clean. I was charged extra to use the meeting room which was in the basement and the wifi didn't work so it was difficult to run the meeting

Room we booked was quiet I had a good sleep.Front desk was approachable. The only problem I had was the blankets and pillow sheets, I would like to suggest add some fabric softener to remove unpleasant smell.
