This was a great place for us to stay while visiting Venice. It is a charming building and hotel and our room was very nice - new, clean and modern. It is a very short walk to catch the water taxi to Venice, with many restaurants near and between the hotel and water taxi - perfect. The staff went out of their way to provide a high level of attention and service. They handled the parking of our rental car with no problem, which we did not use while there. I highly recommend the Ausonia Hungaria.
Hotel Casa del Pellegrino was wonderful. No frills, but super clean and accommodating. I was super comfortable and felt safe and secure. Perfect location if you are looking to visit the Basilica. Parking available for 12$ euro a day as of September-October 2022. Staff are super friendly and accommodating- called for a taxi for us a few times and their system is quick and efficient. Wifi is great. We had breakfast included in our stay and they had an abundant options in food- warm and cold...
Great place to explore the city. The hotel is on the square where is the cathedral. Excellent service and very nice people. If you travel by car, get in touch with the hotel about directions to the parking. I enjoyed my visit very much and highly recommend the hotel.
Breakfast was a superb buffet! The staff was all very helpful! The location near the train station was perfect for us. The center is an easy walk. Cafe Vero was close and excellent. We ate there twice. The hotel staff recommended Pavanna for dinner and it was excellent as well. Our room was perfect. The lobby is charming. We stayed four nights and will definately come again!
Fantastic place to stay. Very peaceful and relaxing, tucked away from the crowds in Venice yet still easy to navigate to and from when you want to go out. Will definitely come back. Great, friendly staff, wonderful view from the room, clean and comfortable.
We were upgraded to a larger room, which was very nice and comfortable. All the amenities were in good order, and the staff was great, particularly with restaurant recommendations. We'd happily come back!

The hotel is clean, conveniently located, and very cute. Taking the advice from a previous reviewer, we got a canel view (rm3), and we loved it so much. It can be noisy if you’re sensitive to noise but didn’t bother us (in fact we slept so well). The location is excellent, walkable to all areas we wanted to go (Rialto 5m, St Mark’s 10m, Guggenheim 20 m) - but of course you get lost in Venice, so it’ll take longer. Everything was amazing, we only stayed there for one night but it was totally worth it. The hotel is amazing, modern yet themed as antique, room was beyond amazing, breakfast exceeded our expectations, and hotel staff were amazing special thanks to Alessandra at the reception who was very nice to help us with everything we needed!! This hotel was excellent! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean. We would definitely use this hotel again if we ever came back to Venice. It is close to Saint Marks Square and lots of shopping is available.
