This was perfect in every way. It was located right in the Artist Colony with the winding roads and historic stone buildings. The owner, Sharon, was there to meet us and show us the room. Everything seemed very new and clean. Balcony overlooking a mountainous view. Private bath and great shower. The beds were marvelous and we slept right through. It was a quiet neighborhood and restaurants within a short walk.
We had a fabulous stay at The Way Inn in Safed! The hotel is a beautiful oasis: charming, relaxing, clean, comfortable, lovely interiors, every detail attended to, with a great location close to everything interesting. Our host, Roni, was absolutely wonderful! He was always present attending to the guests and the property, and so helpful with everything from trip planning and car rental to making our morning espresso. The entry to the hotel was difficult to find. After driving around several times we were told the closed gate is where we enter. There was no sign to indicate this the entry to Galei Kinert.
This is a gem. Sip your coffee on the deck while watching dawn break over the Sea of Galilee. Very well appointed by the owner who is a world traveler. I will return.
