Room was clean and cozy. Shower head delivered hot, hight pressure water which was very nice. The on-sight managers were terrific!

It want roomy, but you could everything...neighbors and the traffic.

Can’t beat it for the price!! Would highly recommend!

Extremely clean, nice layout

We stayed in the Victoria suite, which was lovingly and thoughtfully restored from a former bank building. The wallpaper and furnishings and decor were quite impressive, as was the clawfoot bathtub in one of the bathrooms. Parking was available in the driveway right next to the suite. There was air conditioning that could be adjusted, and plenty of towels. A sink with provision to make coffee in the morning – would’ve been nice to have some glasses rather than just cups, but overall the place...

A great overnight stay from start to finish. Quick & easy checkin, spotlessly clean room, all the amenities we needed. A lovely comfortable bed. The only improvement would be a more powerful shower, but l appreciate the environmental benefit of the existing setup. Highly recommended, virtually opposite a supermarket and a few good restaurant/bars in close walking distance.

Clean, spacious room with nice big bathroom and kitchenette. Had everything we needed for a nice stay. I would recommend!

This place was lovely and spacious and very friendly. The beach run in the morning was my absolute favorite...it’s a short jog to miles and miles of pristine beach. My only warning is for the ladies with long hair...bring your own conditioner! The type they had in the shower didn’t work at all and I had a ‘rat’s nest’ until the next time I washed it with my own conditioner.

Very clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Property had all the amenities that you could want. For the price, this was an excellent value and we enjoyed our time there (even though the weather was cool and rainy).

Easy and smooth check in when we arrived early. Clean and spacious and walking distance to a bar that was open late to see the new year in.

Loved all the options and all the communal spaces. Super convenient to get the rocky beach from here. AMAZING play ground for the kiddos. We booked a three bedroom villa and would have had a great view if sunset but it needs some of the shrubbery trimmed way back. Great space, nice and big and super convenient with a full kitchen. Could not get the fireplace to stay on. They do not have a way to pay digitally in the on site laundry facility. Really needed this as my son made a mess in his car...

The room was beautifully decorated and inviting and the shared kitchen was immaculate and professionally organized.

A beautiful place—our only regret was not staying longer! Pavi went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. When we checked in, he asked if we had dinner plans. We didn’t, and since the hotel is the town’s only restaurant and was fully booked with reservations, he personally spoke with several people to make sure we were still able to enjoy dinner that evening. The hotel also offers laundry facilities, but we didn’t have any NZD cash and our American cards...
