We were so warmly welcomed by our hosts and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lake Brunner Longhouse. We took advantage of the game room, BBQ area, and great breakfast treats. It was the perfect landing pad for our Hokitika adventures! We highly recommend this holiday hideaway!

What a gem! We were very happy to stay one night here between the drive from Christchurch to Blackball, where we started a multi day hike. It was the cleanest place I’ve seen for a long time, heater was turned on for us before we arrived, and the breakfast provision very generous. The owner was very friendly showing us the shared lounge, which was great to use. We would have loved to stay longer so will be back!

This is our second visit. This is because the amenities are excellent and of top quality in furnishings and bedding. Breakfast is supplied in the fridge and with packets of cereal and a good selection of beverages. We loved our stay here.

As a short-stop spot, it is acceptable and well-priced for a small one or two-night stay for a couple that gets on well together and doesn't require space. It worked for us for two nights while we caught up with Lake Brennar again before heading for a more prolonged spell in Nelson.

Lovely rooms that are kept in a spotless condition. Lots of little extras provided in your room to eat and drink. The owner is very friendly and more than happy to help to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is also great that it is pet friendly. The location is conveniently five minutes or less away from the Moana village and lake.

This hotel proved to be an outstanding choice. When we booked it we had no way of knowing how pleasant this place would be. Very peaceful and the manager extremely helpful to us. Thank you for that! The weather was very marginal, so when we could not go out we had a comfortable and warm home to be in. No negatives!!
