The room was clean. Staff was superb and friendly. Beakfast was delicious!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Otunna Guesthouse. We came in later then anticipated, and Dinesh, the owner, was in constant contact with us. They offered fresh passionfruit juice on arrival, and made the most delicious breakfast every morning that was probably the best spread all trip. This property is pretty unique in its location, away from "the rest of the world". You really are in nature, surrounded by nothing else than rice paddies, lake, and such a variety of birds. It is peaceful, staff are very friendly and helpful, food is excellent and will accommodate vegetarian and gluten free needs. There is nothing I can fault our experience on!

We came to stay just for the bed. The staff were amazing and generous. Very accommodating. They organised tuktuk for Sigiriya Rock and Cave Temple and were willing to help in every possible way. Good food recommendations. Sadly we didn't get time for the pool which looked so inviting

Very friendly and kind

A great place to stay while traveling to Dambulla for the Sigirya hikes or cave temples. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. I highly recommend getting a massage at the spa. This was one of our favorite massage experience as the staff is very experienced and caring in their session.

The staff and management is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were subpar but clean enough. No aircon which was fine but no hot water either. The showers were non functional and no buckets were provided till requested. The property is isolated and tough to find. However for the price and for someone seeking a secluded no frills stay with kind and helpful staff I recommend the hotel.
