We stayed twice (first for 3 nights and then for our last night in Algeria) and would totally recommend this accommodation for budget travellers who want to be in the very centre of the city centre. It is a very basic hotel. Do not expect luxury. The plumbing leaks in the bathroom, noise from the busy casbah neighborhood fills your room but you get to watch life going by from your balcony. Why I am giving 5 stars? Phenomenal service, and cleanliness. Breakfast is realy nothing but cofee and some stale pastries but it is 24 hours available with a refrigerator filled with unlimited water. My husband and I are old. A lovely, modern moderate-sized hotel that was appealing because it sits up on a hill, with harbor views, in a quieter neighborhood away from the intense traffic and noise for hotels nearer the waterfront. And yet it was only ~0.5 km from a metro stop and a lively street (Rue Ferhat Boussad) packed with shops and cafes. The hotel's complementary continental breakfast had a rich array of food choices.
