The staff was very helpful, especially ordering me a ride from the airport at midnight. Breakfast was ordered from a menu with hot and cold choices. I think this is one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Close to the castle area so you can beat the crowd
Nice, unique and well managed property. We enjoyed our room and were happily surprised by the variety quality and quantity of breakfast foods! From scrambled eggs with cheese to hummus, fresh fruits, sausage,bacon and pastries. All served with espresso or coffee and prosecco if you choose. Staff arranged our taxi back to the airport and had a bagged breakfast prepared for the trip. Many lovely complimentary items including wine at check in and nespresso and tea. Stayed at this property for two nights and found this hotel to be a little gem. The staff was great and the free breakfast was much better than average. The room decor is unique and the rooms are small but very functional. This hotel's strongpoint is it's location. It's in the center of everything with many shops and restaurants that are very walkable. Hotel is about a block from the river and transportation. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
We have spent 4 days in this hotel and must say that it was wonderful in all aspects of an hotel. Having spent in past a lot in hotels worldwide, this is an outstanding hotel, with a unique concept having an excellent service starting from location continuing with room, breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese reception, SPA, cleanness and exceptional friendly staff.
The Budapest Marriott Hotel is truly deserving of its 5-star rating. Every aspect of the hotel is excellent, especially the DNB Budapest restaurant. The room is very comfortable. There is a wide couch in front of the full width window. It can be used as an extra bed or seating area. We put our luggage on it so we don't have to put it on the ground and bend over to access our items. The staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful surprise hotel in the heart of Pest, in the Jewish Quarter. Very clean, large rooms, great shower and bed.
Has an extensive breakfast buffet. 10 min walk to the Basilica in one direction and the Grand Synagogue in the other.
Beautiful property, very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The breakfast had lots of beverage and food choices and everything tasted great. The staff was very helpful during our entire stay. The rooftop pool had an amazing view and was fun to hang out in.
Located across the street from the famous Medical University it seems to be mostly used by students and their families. Semmelweis has a lot of foreign students so I guess having a hotel this close makes sense.
Probably the best value in south Pest. Be aware however that the rooms DO NOT HAVE A TELEVISION! Which is fine by me since I don't go to Pest to watch TV anyway.
We were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel & heartily recommend it. Staff was courteous, helpful & fluent in English. Rooms were not large but bed was comfortable & bathroom & shower were relatively big. As noted in prior reviews, there were individual twin-sized duvets for each of us on a queen-sized bed, but double duvets were available on request. Since we were there only one night, the individual duvets were fine. We took the airport shuttle 200E to metro station Kobanya...
24 hour coffee free, very expensive shampoo, lotion, conditioner body and hand wash more than enough free, comfortable memory foam mattress, staff helped above and beyond. Walked to St. Stephen's Basilica, Parliament, Chain Bridge, had an amazing haircut for $20 across the street.
Very convenient location with multiple modes of public transportation within walking distance and right outside the hotel. On one of the main streets for shopping and also very close to multiple tourist areas. Breakfast is much cheaper if you book through Expedia and included in the room rate. Breakfast options were excellent and a time saver in the morning instead of looking outside.
