"Probably not on most tourist’s lists. Lake Balaton is beautiful. The Reed Hotel was exceptional. Enjoyed the restaurant and the spa. Wonderful staff."

"It is a well kept property. We loved the longer shoreline. It is very busy but still I did not feel super crowded. Lots of activities are offered for families. Food is great.
Suggestion: beach towels. We had to carry our bathroom towels to the beach.
The price of the accomodation is quite high. Minimally, the water at the dinner table should be free."

"Do not have any high expectations- this hotel property is very basic. There has not been one single improvement, enhancement or update since the property was built to any of the common areas the Carpet is thread bare and stained. The balcony exterior is all in terrible condition and the entire hotel requires painting, New carpet & complete updating. Upon entry to the hotel we were greeted by a very rude arrogant man - who seemed overwhelmed and very unpleasant. He had shocking demeanour and was very unprofessional. We also experienced very rude staff at breakfast. "
