Amazing place to stay in Fort William! The property is warm and cozy, the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, and everything is very well organized. The guest house is conveniently located within walking distance of town, making it easy to get around. It’s also a great option if you’re planning to hike Ben Nevis. Breakfast was excellent! We enjoyed our stay. The staff was excellent, and the parking safe and ample. Two negatives: (1) no elevator, which makes coming and going difficult, even if you are ambulatory, and (2) the hotel is across the street from a very loud, rough bar; the music was loud, and the patrons very intoxicated.
This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our three weeks in Scotland. Wonderful hosts, beautiful location, good breakfast and an extremely comfortable, large and luxurious room. It's about ten miles outside of Oban but well worth the drive. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
A delightful hotel perfectly situated on the banks of the River Ness and only a short walk to the bustle of the small city. Guests are truly treated with first class accommodations upon entering the building; rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, heated bathroom floors, and even a pillow menu - which I have never seen before. Service and food are both notable for breakfast and dinners... bar is cozy. It is a place I would definitely stay again and again.
