"Great stay, wonderful food. "

"Generally old, worn out furniture, bathrooms … everything needs to be refreshed and updated. Keep the character about the building but it really needs a fresh look overall. The wing stable room that we stayed in for 1 night was cold but after telling the receptionist, she gave us a better room upstairs in the main building. The cleanliness the bathrooms leaves you with a disgusting feeling - we found the toilet seat really dirty! Overall, a nice stay, quiet & beautiful location and a lovely breakfast. "

"The room had a couple of cleanliness issues,also looking out of our room window there was a great big container not great. Also breakfast was a bit of a let down,the size of my husband's full Welsh breakfast was smaller the 2nd morning,loads of mushrooms,2 halves of tomatoe on 2nd breakfast about 4 bits of mushrooms and 1 halves of tomato"

"Beautiful wee place above a pub. The food in the pub was amazing. Would go again just for the food. Staff very friendly. No parking at the hotel. Only a few minutes away by car but a steep hill back up to the hotel with bags. Overall loved it"

"Ideally located to visit Powys Castle on foot, being only 1 mile away, great rooms, clean well maintained, staff very helpful & friendly. Good food selection in the restaurant, lounge bar has a good atmosphere and staff are quick to serve & assist anyway they can."
