Excellent
The town is nice. The restaurants are a bit expensive but it's a tourist town so expected. There are some nice pubs and you're in the countryside after a 15 minute walk with amazing sea and inland views.

Good
Shops are not as dog friendly as other Devon towns, but it's a magical Place especially at night near the ferry and quay

A gorgeous part of the country with lots to offer. Great shops, restaurants and views.
"Very nice property, most things required were supplied. Only disappointment was the pillows, ones supplie were old and very inferior quality plus they did not have pillow protectors on. This was the only downside "
"Lovely touches in the room, handmade soap, face cloths, earplugs, little goodie bag on checkout.
Team were all amazing.
Lovely breakfast served with great coffee.
Great spot right on the cove where you can sit and watch the boats come and go."
"Hotel was lovely, had everything we liked. Lovely outside area, pool and we even enjoyed the pool table. The food was fantastic 5 star and really made our stay. Would definitely go back again. Only one thing that could possibly make stay even better is a little fan in the rooms when it’s super hot, especially on ground floor. "
"Almost too good to want to share. An exquisitely presented, located and managed refuge in a lovely peaceful marine/ rural setting overlooking one of Britain's most beautiful river estuaries.
Laid back, efficient, non intrusive owner management. You will relax! The best of British bed and breakfast hospitality Oh, and those breakfasts!"
"Good stay, with a large comfortable, spotlessly clean, homely, well equipped apartment. Friendly staff. However, there were a couple of niggles, the TV was really small, old fashioned and not smart so no access to streaming services etc. There was also a surprise charge for daily electricity usage, which wasn’t mentioned during booking, and could really add up if you were staying for a few nights or more. "
"Main drawback was parking which was some distance so no quick access to car for forgotten items. To be fair, proprietor provided a free personal taxi service on arrival and departure. Breakfast a bit quirky. "
