This was the typical experience I expect of a Mercure hotel. Clean, tidy rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. No drama or mistakes. The location was central to all the roads, and just a 10 minute drive over the border into Geneva (the hotel is on the France side). Very near to several shops and restaurants, and we had a really fun dinner at the grill across the parking lot. All in all, it was just a one night stay en route to Paris, and we all got good, sound rest and relaxation.

The room was small but very comfortable. There was a door leading out to a garden, where it was lovely to walk, and nice to let in fresh air. Our room had a kettle, and supplies to make coffee. I stayed here for work and enjoyed it so much that I made a reservation here when my family joined me. The staff was very helpful including with assistance buying online soccer tickets in Zurich. This is an older property but we were very comfortable and enjoyed Le Bistro restaurant. Most importantly the location truly couldn’t be beat! The free 15 tram made getting around so easy. The hotel is an easy walk to Lake Geneva and the old city.
