Le Vieux Castillon is in one of the most beautiful ancient villages that is close to Avignon, Uzes, Pont du Garde, St. Remy de Provence and Les Beaux. We have been going to this area for 15 years for business and this hotel does not disappoint. It may appear a little rustic to some, but the charm is great.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They arranged for me to have a cab back to Nimes. The breakfast was lovely! The bread was even warm. Bed was comfortable and the property was really pretty. The couple that appears to run the hotel were really wonderful. Highly recommend!

The duplex was great for our family of four. We loved the kitchen and living room—they’re both very spacious and comfortable. The apartment is close enough to all the restaurants and touristy spots, yet it still feels like we’re living like locals in Avignon. Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls.
The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!
The staff was absolutely amazing throughout our stay! They provided a smooth check-in, including detailed information about nearby sites & restaurants…including a map in English! Pretty much everything is within easy walking distance.

After touring Avignon, we would recommend this hotel. Quick check-in, easy parking, and pleasant staff. We loved our room, with balcony and comfortable table and chair, overlooking a garden-like yard. The pool was lovely too.
The hotel rooms were nothing to get excited about however they were spacious and the staff was absolutely so incredible. Despite the room I would stay there again because they made my time there so much easier than any other hotel of been in France
