The owners were very quick and responsive to an email I sent with questions prior to staying. The room we had was perfect for my family of 4. Breakfast had so many options to chose from and we all could find plenty to eat. Overall, our experience was excellent and I would stay here again!
We loved that it felt charming and old school, with lovely dining rooms and sitting rooms. Our room in the main building was a bit small but adequate and well maintained and very clean. The spa area of the hotel was brand new and well done, with a great pool, sauna, and hot-tub. The hotel breakfast was excellent and generous and the dinner we had there was good, but not very seasonal.
The staff were friendly, pleasantly offered recommendations when needed. The room was VERY clean, which was appreciated, and the breakfast was good, and had a lot of options. Be aware, if you have an issue with stairs, ask for a first level room when booking as there is no elevator.
I definately would stay there again if on Bornholm.
Wonderful, welcoming place! Very clean and pretty rooms, a delicious spread for breakfast featuring almost all local goods, and a spot for a freezing cold dip outside in the sea next to a sauna, should you dare. What could be better?!
The facility was interesting and enjoyable. We were surprised to have a “detached bathroom” which was dedicated to our room but located 50’ away from our room. The facility was spotless and the real highlights were the location, OUTSTANDING breakfast and most importantly the owners who were kind, gracious and truly made the stay wonderful.
