The lodging was fine. But we had a situation upon arrival that was a bit uncomfortable as no one was available to receive us. Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests....
It was clean and efficient. The shared refrigerator and freezer were quite full. We had a little trouble with the codes on the door, but we're helped quickly.
The staff was super helpful. When they promised to do something, they got it done. We had an issue with a window blind that was fixed immediately. Check-in went smoothly. The neighborhood was quiet. The mini golf and outdoor play area looked great for families with children.
The breakfast was hands down, the best! The staff was constantly refilling the items on the large buffet. My daughter has celiac and had to ask if a few things were gluten free and one staff member gave her all of the ingredient details and reassured us as his daughter has the same diagnosis. The food was super fresh and there was a very nice variety.
Room and shared bathroom were nice and clean, helpful signs around the property. Shops, restaurants, cinema, and train station were all about or under 5 minutes walk away.
