Nice views, hiking trails right at the door, nice spa, good breakfast. Under staffed at times and checkout at 10am is definitely not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel

Excellent location with spacious parking im the back. Very spacious room with large cabinents you can lock (keys provided) Very friendly stafg that speaks English. Excellent restaurant in the bottom, good free breakfast. Very German town.

Hotel staff was excellent and very accommodating. A little out of the way but if you arrive in time you can take the Klum train up the hill right behind the drop point behind the castle.

As a hotel it just lacked the amenaties that other hotels had like a lounge area or coffee station.

Wow, right outside the famous Heidelberg towers and our rooms over looked the bridge and the river! Perfection. Beautiful old world sitting room to grab a coffee and wait for the rest of our group! We were so lucky to be there for Christmas Markets. It was perfect

All staff were exceptional very nice and helpful. Rooms were nice view from room was amazing.

The desk staff and concierge were wonderful: helpful, prompt and friendly. The rooms were beautiful, and the breakfasts offered a huge and delicious variety of cereals, breads, eggs, meats, cheeses, juices, coffees, teas, and more.

Since it's small, it had a more intimate feel. We loved how close it is to the many Christmas markets, old bridge, Philosophers' Walk, and old castle. Taking bus 32 from the train station drops you right at the hotel! We would stay here again. We stayed in December and it was plenty warm.

Situated on Hauptstrasse (Main Street) in old town Heidelberg. It as good to walk every day just as the Germans do. Shops were okay, but plentiful. Also close to Heidelberg's main historical attractrations, the Schloss (Castle) and the Alte Brucke ( the old Bridge). Room comes with a complementary breakfast which, from my earlier experiences, is typical German. The hotel s restaurant dinning facilities were not open the 6 days we were there. Our stay coincided with the Autumn school...

Very nice. Loved the cigar bar. Great food and wine in restaurants. Room was nice too.

The hotel is in a great location - right by the bridge and castle. The room was huge and we could have stayed there for weeks, it felt so comfortable. Restaurant has the best food in town.
