The hotel is located just slightly outside Berlin. It's in a small quiet town from which reaching Berlin by public transportation is very convenient. But besides the location and the quality of the rooms, the interaction with the stuff is really the best part. I was their guest twice so far, one time alone, another time with my 12-years old daughter.

AMAZING! This is a 5 star boutique hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel. This was our first trip to Berlin from NYC for 4 days. The hotel is located in the transitional, hip gay friendly Kreuzberg neighborhood. It felt chill and relaxed away from the tourist hoards in Mitte. We loved staying here! The bed was SOOOO comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. One item I’ve never seen before: a motion-activated light under the bathroom sink to provide a little light for you if you get up at night. Note: I had seen mentions online of a round pool in the spa area, but not on Westin’s own site. They no longer have a pool, but do still have a spa.

This is definitely one of my best experiences in traveling to Europe. What a beautiful setting, convenient and so close to all of the museums and attractions. You can walk over to fine restaurants, concerts and art exhibitions at the Museum Island. The weather was perfect in August. The city is full of history, art and culture. The people were so friendly wherever we went, and the food was exquisite just about any restaurant the we ate.
