Wonderful all inclusive resort with friendly and attentive staff who genuinely wanted us to have a great experience! Food superior to other all-inclusives we have visited, and dining options included for gluten and dairy free. Great housekeeping, excellent and timely bar service at the pool, had to get room service one night while managing a canceled flight and food was great then too. Very service oriented and nearly all staff wore masks appropriately and were seen to be cleaning common areas....
We had a fantastic stay at Epic Tamarindo! The property is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently close to several beaches. The rooms are spacious, and we absolutely loved the private plunge pool. We’ll definitely be back!

We were beyond happy with this hotel choice for our extended vacation, 4 weeks. The owners, Hilda and Simon, were onsite and were, with the staff, extremely helpful and accommodating during our whole stay. It was very clean and the beds comfortable.

It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.
When we arrived, the manager was called to tell us that unfortunately the hotel had been overbooked and our room had been given away. Needless to say, we were NOT HAPPY - especially because we had booked many months previous. Maik, the manager apologized profusely and told us that he had secured an oceanfront condo just a few hundred meters away for us.

We loved Margaritaville Costa Rica! It is right on the Playa de Flamingo which is a wonderful beach. The staff, the food, the drinks, the location & the sunsets where fabulous.
We would only ask that who ever is in charge of the "pool music," please include some Jimmy Buffett songs. We where there for over two weeks and did not hear one Jimmy Buffett song over the stereo. (Fortunately, we brought our own music and small boom box.)

If you want to really get away from it all and just kick back, this is the place. After driving down dirty, rocky roads, through crazy Tamarindo, you arrive at Cala Luna - paradise. If you are looking for a great resort that is quite, peaceful, and to get away from everything this is it. The rooms looking over the ocean were scenic and it was just a short walk to the beaches. They even had a small place that belonged only to the resort.
It was close enough to the shops that you could walk around. The hotel made itself secluded so you didn't feel like you were in town.

Keylor was one of our waiters that worked at the hotel and he gave us great recommendations for food to try from the restaurants, and everyone thing he recommended was amazing. Elena at the front desk also helped us out a lot and made sure that we had everything we needed for our rooms.
