Perfect location in Sydney for my honeymoon! We received a free room upgrade and once staff learned it was out honeymoon they surprised us with a free bottle of champagne and chilled glasses right at our door. We had a beautiful view on the top floor, and the bathroom was clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

Location was great for all of the tourist attractions and public transit to navigate the city. Great tea in room and clean and comfortable room.

This was a great location once you worked out the public transportation, from buses to the light rail, you can get anywhere in Sydney. The room is a good size and the heating and A/C is good. The only thing that can be improved on is the bathroom its a little bit small without much storage. If they would install shelving on the mirror it would improve the bathroom a bunch. The staff was exceptional!!! They were extremely helpful and friendly. I travel a lot and I would rate the staff at this hotel the best I have ever experienced. My son and I traveled from the USA and were not familiar with the area and the reception staff went way beyond expectations to help us. The breakfast staff(2 sisters) were awesome! They were constantly replacing food and drink items as needed and always available. Wish we had this excellent service in the USA!

We stayed at the Meriton (Campbell) in September 2017. Taking the train from the International Airport terminal to Central Station was quick and easy. We got in at 7:30PM so the train was rather empty. Getting an Opal card at the airport for the train was quick and easy as well. Once at Central Station finding Pitt street was a little confusing, but once I figured out where we were, it was a quick 5-10 min walk to the hotel. My friend and I stayed at the Song Hotel while we were visiting Sydney and we loved it! It was in a great location, right near a subway station and bus stops (and a quick ride from the airport). It was also easy to walk to nearby neighborhoods that had lots of restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet was amazing every morning, and the dinners we had at the hotel restaurant were awesome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend!

This is our go to hotel in Sydney. We have tried many others, but this is the benchmark against which others don’t match for us. Your greeted by friendly staff the moment you walk in, the concierge eagerly takes your bags at the door and that friendly relaxed atmosphere stays with you the whole time during your stay. Accessible to most of the tourist attractions around downtown Sydney, a wide variety of restaurants within walking distance. Considering that this is a major city in the world with a pretty dense population, it is relatively clean and safe albeit there are signs of homelessness in the shadows. Hotel prices are on par to most cities in the United States and Europe with similar population numbers.
