"The Ibis Styles is a very short, flat walk to/from Terminals 3&4. There is a shuttle if you don’t want to walk but it 5 min max to walk.
The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff were great."
"I recently stayed at Flagstaff Gardens Hotel Melbourne and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with their valet parking service.
I paid $65 for valet parking, which I was completely fine with — I understand that’s their standard charge. However, the service was extremely poor. When I requested my car, I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. I ended up waiting 25 minutes and the car still wasn’t there.
When I asked again how much longer it would take, they simply said, “Sorry, we forgot.” I couldn’t believe it. After that, I had to wait another 20 minutes. In total, they wasted almost an hour of my time.
Because of this delay, I missed a specialist appointment that I had travelled 5 hours to attend. This was very important to me, and the lack of professionalism and care from the valet team caused serious inconvenience.
Charging $65 for valet is fine — but the service should at least be organised and reliable. Very disappointing experience."
