It was a very short walk from the Asturias airport. Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late. The receptionist was ready for our arrival and we were checked in very quickly. The room was a large and clean traveler's hotel. There is an adjacent restaurant that offers basic meals. A good value overall.
The apartment was very clean and modern and was well equipped. It was also very quiet. We even got to watch a movie on Netflix. We had a hard time getting to it but it really is easy. Set your gps to Parqueo Longoria. There is an elevator up to the plaza and then it’s not even a block away. Make sure you use 8 Calle Caveda. Make sure to visit La Avenida De Cidra which is very close. We had a great meal at Tierra de Asturia.
The building it self look like missing maintenance, is very modern but huge structure hard to maintain need a new paint job. Rooms were ok. Is easy to walk from hotel to city center but coming back is all uphills
The hotel was located in a lovely part of Gijón, Spain — I loved the city and would love to come back someday. The area is beautiful, with mountains and the ocean nearby. One thing to note: the hotel did not have AC, even though I believe it was advertised as having it, so you may want to double check before booking.
We were very satisfied with the services of this hotel. The staff was always helpful. It is conveniently located in the center of town, near restaurants and sites, and there is parking across the street. Our room was large, very comfortable, and clean.
Phenomenal location. Excellent hospitality. Great water preaaure. Comfortable bed. It was a wonderful two nights before I started the Camino.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious both mornings.
I don't know the desk clerks name that had to deal with an unreasonable guest but watching her keep her calme was a feat of remarkable restraint. She deserves a reward of some kind.
