Simply perfect

We were staying in Gijón due to a wonderful road-trip through the North of Spain. The hotel is conveniently located, close to the beautiful promenade of the town and easy to access to, as you are arriving by car. Directly next to the hotel entrance you will find their underground car-park, which we liked very much due to reasons of security, since our car was rather packed with luggage. The rooms are modern and spacious, bathrooms are top notch as well. Most important to us was the pet-friendlyness, which is not common in Spain. This hotel even provides you with a bed for your dog, which obviously was very comfy, as our dog slept in it without waking me up during the night. Breakfast is high-class, providing you with a large variety of fruit, bread, cold cuts and eggs in all varieties. The staff is just wonderful, going forth and back to make your stay a wonderful one. No matter, whether Checking in or out or enjoying breakfast, everyone is working hard on making your stay a perfect one. During our stay, one of the front-lights of our car broke down. The receptionist, who does not own a car, asked her colleagues who were off duty, to provide us with the address of a good car-mechanic. The recommended one did a wonderful job and we were more than greatful for the information. Due to all this, we changed our original plans and chose this wonderful hotel again on our way back home. We'll definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you so much for everything!

It was disappointing that the rooftop pool and bar were not open throughout our stay. We went in early June so I could understand the pool not being open but the bar area around the pool and bar were either closed to residents or only accessible by private parties which was disappointing because we had chosen this particular hotel because of its rooftop amenities.

I've been at this hotel a few times and service is always excellent. Staff at desk is really helpful and super professional. Breakfast buffet coffee can be improved but staff there offered espresso or capuccino from the machine in the kitchen. AND the biggest disappointment is the lack of a gym available the days we were there! Gym is inside a private spa and you have to book it and they close Sunday and Monday. I think a little relax and exercise area is a must for a beautiful and nice hotel like this.

Cerca de la playa, a 2km del centro de Gijón, depende de lo que se busque. La piscina ubicada en la azotea, solo para refrescarse, no vale si se piensa en hacer ejercicio. Salvo honrosas excepciones, personal serio, aunque atienden tus necesidades. Las habitaciones las terminan de preparar tarde, en nuestro caso sobre las 13 horas, a veces más tarde. Desayuno aceptable para ser un 4*, aunque hay muchos hoteles de esa categoría con mas variedad. Habitación en general cómoda, aunque no tiene enchufe en los dos lados de la cama, ppr lo que no se puede por ejemplo cargar dos móviles a la vez estando en la cama. El.enchufe de una lámpara de pie auxiliar no funcionaba. El aislamiento no es bueno, por lo que en cuanto se empiezan a mover otras habitaciones, es complicado seguir dormido por el ruido del pasillo o de las habitaciones cercanas. Las calles de alrededor son de aparcamiento libre, por lo que se puede aparcar en la calle si se encuentra sitio. El hotel tiene aparcamiento subterráneo propio y hay otras opciones públicas de pago cerca.

Hotel ben ubicato per godere del lungomare di Gijon. Camera di dimensioni relativamente piccole. Carenza di prese elettriche alle testate del letto, nel 2026 non è perdonabile avere un unica presa a lato del letto. Bagno piccolo e poco funzionale. Assenza di bidet, piano doccia sdrucciolevole e con gradino interiore. Doccia improbabile di astrusa concezione. Supporti per asciugamani precari , manutenzione necessaria. Prezzo del parking di quasi un euro x ora….esoso. Non il miglior NH che abbia visitato.
