"An amazing find in the heart of old-town Avignon. Larger-than-normal rooms, beautiful gardens, and a delightful host. You're steps away from a market area and many restaurants, and only 10 minutes on foot to the Palais-des-Papes and other key sites. The rooms are beautifully appointed, as are the gardens (many sculptures). Definitely a must-say if you're spending any time at all in Avignon."

"Jean Luc is a great host. Between my bad French and his pigeon English we just about got by, but with a lot of grace and good humour. The property is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the stunning Palais de Pape in the old walled city. Try and book ahead and nab the downstairs courtyard room. That puts you in pole position for the little pool and breakfast area and saves you having to lug heavy suitcases up two flights of steps. There’s a carrefour store and a Boulangerie just...

"A great quite location super conveniently located just outside St. Michel Gate, so it worked very well as a retreat from the Festival. The host was very warm, personable and accommodating. A jacuzzi in the room was a great amenity after long days of walking on cobblestone, and the living room was a comfortable place to get work done during the days."
