10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed staying here and experiencing Hakone. The rooms and baths were very nice and clean. And the staff was super helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend this stay. "
"Great place! Super friendly, kind staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location high on the mountain. In room onsen was nice for a quick private soak. The forest and rooftop public onsen were lovely and uncrowded. Breakfast buffet was delicious."
Ajisai Onsen Ryokan - Award Winning Private Open Air Onsen Hakone
10/10 Excellent
"The Ajisai Onsen Ryokan was an amazing experience. The hotel is small, quaint, peaceful and the Onsen's are fantastic. There are not enough words to describe the staff. Nagi, Namu, Rubi... the Chef, the cleaners were TOP Notch. Stayed for 6 nights and we ordered the 7 course Kaiseki meal for 5 nights. Delicious can't even describe what we ate. We are already planning a trip back to the Ajisai. The one on one Customer Service relationship is a 10 star in
our book. Domo Arigato for soothing our souls,"
"Check in was easy and smooth. The room was very clean. The toilet had its own room. Same with the excellent shower.
Staff was excellent. They had free lockers where you could keep your luggage until check in time.
Our only complaint was that they would not store our luggage after we checked out."
"The hotel is a wonderful oasis in Hakone, very quiet and serene. The rooms are comfy, it has a toilet, shower and an onsen. Theres also a public onsen which is beautiful and the restaurant is in both the main building and the annex. Theres free drinks at certain times, you use the yukatas provided, so many amenities. Great stay"
