"I was pleasantly surprised with the property and location. It is right on the Arcata plaza. It’s a very nice down town area with lots of shops and restaurants all in walking distance of the hotel. The hotel itself is charming and well kept. I felt very fortunate to have found the Hotel Arcata last minute at the start of the Labor Day weekend on my drive up the coast. The parking is free and easy. The breakfast is included and very simple. The room clean but a little noisy from the busy street...

"The Holiday Inn is located right next to the airport and just off the 101 hwy. I was greeted immediately by the friendly front desk staff. Super clean, quiet room, comfy bed and huge bathroom. Ample food available for breakfast. They have a shuttle service to and from the airport if needed. I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay there again."

"We had a really good stay. Our room was excellent. Our only hiccup was we couldn’t get the coffee maker to work, but that wasn’t a problem in the big picture …we will book with you again the next music festival in Eureka."

"Older/historic hotel in the middle of town, right on main square. Room was on small size, but as expected for a historic property. Shower and water pressure in our room was awesome. Nothing better than robust hot shower after day of travel or outdoor. Breakfast was spartan, but enough. Not much more than bagel and waffle, but we’ve had worst. Location was nice, downtown Arcata is nice with nice boutique shops and nice town square. Finally the onsite Japenese restaurant, Tomo, I think separate from hotel, was very very good and super easy. Enjoy"

"Pool was closed, but the property is great. They have their own dogpark. The shower was amazing and room was clean. The bed could have been more comfortable, it was quite firm. We had a noisy neighbor blaring music and the staff shut it down immediately. Really decent free breakfast and good wifi. Pet friendly too!"
