"We really enjoyed our seven night stay at the Berkeley Hotel from the moment we arrived. On arrival we were greeted by Elma who booked us in and gave us a warm welcome before recommending somewhere to eat nearby as we had arrived quite late.
The room was a very good size with a large clean bed, a small balcony with table and two chairs and a well laid out bathroom with walk in shower. We received two small complimentary bottles of wine on arrival and put them in the rooms good sized refrigerator.
Breakfast at the hotel was excellent with a good choice of food including cereals, yoghurts, fruit, cheese, meat and bread as well as hot food including sausage, eggs and bacon. The breakfast staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, Lidija deserving special mention for remembering what drinks we liked and even what size cups/mugs we liked them in.
The hotel is located around 40 minutes steady walk from the Old Town but is on the route of No.3 and No.8 local busses (a €2.50 ride each way) and was a short walk from a supermarket where you could buy snacks and alcoholic beverages for your room at good prices.
On our last day we were not due to be picked up for the airport until 17:45 so the evening before Elma spoke to her manager (Maria I think) and organised for us to use the room for the full day, she really did go above and beyond.
I would highly recommend The Berkeley Hotel for your visit to Dubrovnik, we found it met all our needs and more."
"Fabulous hotel. Great buffet breakfast and dinner. We had a waterfront view and looked over the pool area and out to the Adriatic Sea. We felt ourselves relaxing here. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel manager even phoned to see how our stay had gone. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. "
"We had a fabulous stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. Our room was spacious and spotless, the breakfast was delicious. All of the staff were really helpful. The health club was also great. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. "
"A very cosy hotel in the heart of Cavtat. Beautiful views of the sea and small harbour from the balcony. Staff very helpful, a special shout out to the girl at reception who gave me perfect directions to a rather obscure location in Dubrovnik!!"
"This hotel is beautiful, I highly recommend it. We were on the 8th floor with wonderful views of the sea and islands. We took Ubers into old town for touring, yet there is also a bus that comes to the hotel that is an option. Walkable to a nearby promenade filled with restaurants, a little uphill on the way back for less than half a mile. The breakfast was great, many options in the buffet. We went in late October and missed the crowds, which we liked. Glad we chose to stay here. "
