"Great location, looks brand new - right in the middle of the city center. Parking convenientky underneath the hotel (or in nearby mall, only minutes away on foot). Rooms quite spacious and clean. Staff friendly and helpfull. Would stay here for sure again when in Recklinghausen"

"The property was nicely appointed with everything you might need. Checking in was simple and didn't require interaction with anyone, which was good as we arrived late. The beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was very enjoyable. Excellent."

"Lovely friendly hotel, lovely front of house member of staff gave us a drink free of charge on arrival as such a hot day and we walked from town (mainly uphill!) We only stayed one night, all was great, right next to starlight express and some lovely touches e.g. photobooth Would recommend to anyone!"

"Solides Hotel im Herner Stadtpark. Der Großteil der Zimmer ist neu gebaut, die Zimmer sind ordentlich, haben zum Teil aber sehr kleine Bäder. "

"Rooms were clean. Staff was very attentive and friendly through WhatsApp. Location was great."

"Friendly and simple. Nice location next to a lake. Decent breakfast. Good value. "

"The hotel was located in a very convenient location, with plenty of amenities nearby, most importantly: a stone's throw from the Steele railway station. The premises were spotless, quiet, the rooms vast, cosy and all areas of the building felt well-maintained, and comfortable."

"We have stayed here several times over the years and always enjoyed a friendly welcome and a relaxed way of going on. We enjoy the typical German style of a family owned, host on site experience... and the breakfast is good! Excellent location too. Bochum town centre is only a few minutes away on the frequent tram which stops nearby. Would recommend Haus Vocke to anyone!"

"Very nice and clean hotel, great stay and super convenient. Close to stadium and right next to a mall. Only problem was we got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes, they were able to get us out and said it happens often due to it being old so i recommend taking the stairs. Overall great place to stay would definitely say again "
