We had one of the cottage right on the lake ( "Le Cartier" ) with private deck - that was wonderful.

Kind, helpful, and accommodating staff. Unit looked exactly like the pictures. Big walk in shower and comfy king bed. Plenty of space for two. Breakfast included was a nice perk. Great location.
We were so pleasantly surprised by this property. Let's get one thing out of the way - it's showing its age. It's not by any means modern. But, it's clean, fairly well maintained, and the amenities are second to none. It has a massive kids' play area with bouncy castles, video games, billiards, foosball, ping-pong tables; an indoor and outdoor pool with a water slide (we only visited the outdoor), an on-site petting zoo(!), multiple playgrounds, and a pond with ducks and geese to sit and ponder....
The hosts are welcoming and charming! The inn is beautifully decorated, and each room has it's own unique character. I had a son who is a student at nearby Bishop's University, so I am thrilled to have found this place where I look forward to staying at for all future visits.
Our host, Andre, was wonderful...and we even learned a little French ! We are planning to return to Sherbrooke in the summer and will definitely book a stay at the Camelion !
