"Very reasonable accommodation for the price, in a central location close to the train station. The property itself was in need of some modernisation and a deep clean in places but overall it was quiet and comfortable, with a basic kitchen and secure parking. Check-in instructions could have been clearer and ideally sent in advance of the check-in time."

"Received an email around 3 hours before we were due to check in the booking had been cancelled. We were en-route. Called the number on the email (which was a third party - not Hotels.com). Advised the booking had been cancelled due to 'maintenance' and to contact Hotels.com directly make an alternative booking. Attempted to contact Hotels.com but could not get to speak to a human being to make an alternative booking. We were left high and dry!"

"The room was clean, spacious and recently decorated. I would have liked to have known that the hotel was having major renovations to the entire downstairs, including the reception area. Apart from this, staff were courteous and happy. "
