8/10 Very good

Quirky hotel in a residential area. Is a little tired and could do with modernising, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room and a small TV. Breakfast was available but we didn’t have it.

Apart from the customers jumping from bed to bed above us it was a lovely stay again, staff are so polite and i loved meeting Zeus, I have recommend this hotel to some friends when we come back in October

Stopped just for one night and would stay again. The room was clean and large for a single. The staff were helpful and with the parking it was good for a night away with work. Perhaps, the decor in the room is tired, but that's something and nothing for a single bloke staying for a night. Wifi was good and so was the shower.

8/10 Very good

My stay for nights was pleasant. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The property itself is fairly clean, although it could do with some work in the grounds area, weeding etc I did really like the old look of the reception, lovely to see. The room itself was clean and tidy. Overall, I would definitely stay again and would recommend for a great priced stay.

6/10 Good

Cheap hotel. Looks a bit like it's past it's sell by date in places. Old locking systems left on doors etc. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was fairly clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was terrible though. It was an over bath with a mixer tap taken straight from the bath taps. It was either volcanic or cold. Pressure was also poor. There was an old system which looked like a thermostaticaly controlled mixer still in place, but with the outflow removed. It's a shame because being able to have a wash is kind of the main point in booking a hotel.

6/10 Good

I recently stayed at this hotel and would describe the experience as adequate. The room was clean, everything worked as expected, and the check‑in was straightforward. We only saw one member of staff who showed us to our room; after that, we didn’t encounter anyone else during the stay. The hotel itself feels very tired. The décor is dated, the furnishings are worn, and the overall look suggests it hasn’t been refreshed in quite some time. While nothing was actually wrong, the atmosphere would benefit from a modern update. On the positive side, the location is close to the city, which made getting around very convenient, and the on‑site car parking was genuinely good — easy, accessible, and stress‑free. Overall, an acceptable stay, but the hotel would benefit greatly from a renovation to bring it up to a more inviting standard.
