"I chose the hotel because it is located nearby and the reception is open around the clock. I arrived at night and the staff was not willing to look for a reservation but demanded money. I had to explain myself several times. Finally, I said that we'll figure it out in the morning. Very inappropriate behavior from the staff towards customers. this otherwise vague accommodation is also untidy and noisy"

"It was clean and tidy with basic but an enjoyable breakfast. Staff helpful, but had language barrier more often than not. But they did help to best we could do, I to only knew a few words, 1st time over.. Only real issue is not having hot water to.shower, especially for early 4am departure. If wanting just clean room, like I was after & cheap, I would recommend as also very close to International Airport. Just wish had hot water. Otherwise no real complaints."

The property was very clean . Bed was ultra comfortable.
Not sure why some reviews didn’t like the breakfast . I found the breakfast quite good with lots of choices and quality food including adequate vegetarian options.
Highly recommend this hotel especially the value . I will definitely stay again next time I am in Vietnam .

If you like the hustle and bustle of a market, you might want to head out to Binh Tay Market in Chinatown and take in the atmosphere. There are also lots of shops and restaurants in the area if you fancy a wander. Splash some more cash at The Garden Mall.
Big beautiful pool to hang out after a day out . Close to the airport and about a 25 min ride to the touristy things , but the taxis using grab are very reasonable.The staff were so kind and helpful . One staff member went above and beyond . Thank you Tri for for all the recommendations about where to go in the city and help with Grab app etc .
Hotel Vela in Saigon was amazing excellent hotel very clean very beautiful and clean , excellent staff ,we came in late and the hotel greatly accommodated us
We decided to stay here for our first ever trip to Vietnam and we’re very glad we did! All the staff have been so kind, helpful, and attentive. The room was very clean and comfortable and they decorated it not only for our arrival but once again for my boyfriend’s birthday. We can’t thank the staff enough, they’ve been truly wonderful.

Great location! Room came with washer and dryer as well as kitchen. Slight water leak from the standing shower, every time you showered. Also got access to a gym, which could be cleaner. Service, especially from Dang, was great!

Make sure you visit the spa. I had a 1-hour $32USD foot massage & my skin glowed for weeks after.
Next to the Saigon Central mall, and a few blocks from Ben Thanh market - the biggest array of shops in the city. Our only complaint was that there was no power plug in the bathroom. Strange.
